To make an appointment please call 0844 499 6932 choosing option 2 during the surgery opening hours.  We have a selection of pre-bookable apptointments as well as book on the day.

In addition to our normal opening hours we now have Extended Hours. These surgeries are NOT for emergencies, they are for pre booked appointments only. These are held on Saturdays and Mondays - Mondays alternate between an early morning and a late evening.

URGENT PROBLEMS

These can be dealt with by a telephone call or appointment with a doctor. If your problem is urgent, please explain to the receptionist, who can book you in for a return call or appointment.

HOW DO I OBTAIN TELEPHONE ADVICE ?

The doctors are able to take brief telephone calls after morning surgery. We ask that if the patient wishes to speak to the doctor they phone and inform the receptionist. A record will be made for the doctor to return your call, some time during that day or the following day.

Please ensure you will be available on the number you give as the doctor will not have time to repeatedly try to contact you.
 

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.

Nursing Appointments

It is important that you are aware that not all our nurses cover all tasks. We ask that you give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable them to make your appointment with the correct nurse and to ensure they give you the correct amount of time needed.
