Jo Miles, our Nurse Manager, has received specialist training in Minor Illness, and we are very pleased to promote this new service at the surgery. Jo will be holding a Minor Illness Clinic every morning, from the 27th July 2009, and will be able to deal with the following conditions:- fever, sore throats, earache, coughs and colds, hayfever, conjunctivitis, impetigo and boils, insect bites, athletes foot, urine infections, emergency contraception and some gynaecological problems. The Minor Illness Clinic will be available to persons over the age of 5, and we hope to evolve the scope of illnesses that Jo can deal with over time.
